Care in detail
Bright, indirect light is best, but it handles dimmer corners well. Direct sun can burn the leaves.
Water only when the soil is dry. It can go about a month without water with no harm. Overwatering is its main enemy.
Well-drained soil such as a cactus mix or a mix with perlite, in a pot with drainage holes.
Root rot, caused by overwatering, is the most common problem. If leaves turn soft or flop over, check the soil moisture first.
Toxic to pets because it contains saponins.
