Care in detail
Indirect light is best, and it tolerates very low light. Direct afternoon sun damages the leaves.
Thick underground rhizomes store water. Let the soil dry between waterings, then water thoroughly and pour off the excess. Every 7 to 14 days is usually enough.
13–27°C. It grows faster when it is warm.
Yellow leaves most often mean overwatering, often with rotting rhizomes. Pests and diseases are rare.
Contains calcium oxalate crystals that painfully irritate the mouth and throat. Keep away from children and pets.
